Josie Huber, President & Treasurer
Hey, everyone! Welcome to all the new and returning Agros!
Here’s to your first, last or somewhere in-between year of university. Create opportunities, seize all events and leave this college with experience and a heart full of memories. I am Josie Huber, and I am honoured to serve as your President and Treasurer on the ASA for this school year. This is my fourth consecutive year being an ASA representative and serving the AgBio students. I originate from a mixed cattle, grain and hop farm near Wilkie, Sk. This is my final year of my Agribusiness degree.
The ASA is an organization that is full of student elected volunteers. We as a whole want to promote and enable students to make their experiences as an Agro and UofS student rewarding, memorable and lastly, a damn good time! Agros are involved in different aspects in the college, university and within the city. We base our events on three pillars of athletic, academic and social opportunities.
Agros are determined and hardworking. We have a strong sense of community and teamwork. We believe in giving back as it is beneficial and fulfilling. Throughout the school year, the ASA offers a variety of events that benefit students and the community.

A few words from a conditioned, upper year student that has experienced both in person and online uni: as a new student, I understand it can be overwhelming and intimidating to get involved and adapt to new changes. Don’t worry, everyone here has been in your shoes. We are all here for one another. Reach out to a classmate or someone else and start building connections. And hey, pop in the lounge a time or two!
